Manifesto
We turn facades into canvases
Prism Garden is a light art and projection mapping studio based in Mainz, Germany. We create facade projections, floor projections and interactive installations for light festivals, cities, cultural institutions and event organisers.
What we do
How we make a space glow
From a facade projection on a cathedral to a floor projection that responds to every single step: we handle concept, animation and technical delivery.
Projection Mapping
Facades, objects and rooms become projection surfaces, precisely measured and mapped.
- Facade projection
- Stages & objects
- 3D mapping
Interactive Installations
Motion tracking and gesture control make visitors part of the image.
- Motion sensing
- Touch & gesture
- Real-time visuals
Audiovisual Light Art
Sound and image emerge together — audio-reactive, in real time.
- Live visuals
- Generative animation
- Room installation
Floor Projection
Squares, foyers and walkways that respond to every step.
- Interactive floors
- Squares & foyers
- Play & discovery
How we work
From concept to projection
We work from the first sketch to the installation on site.
Discovery
We listen: the site, the occasion, the idea. Out of that comes a first shared picture.
Concept
Sketches, moodboards, technical checks — until the concept stands up.
Production
Content, technology and testing: we build the work piece by piece.
The work
Installation on site, final tuning, premiere. Lights on.
Who we are
A small creative studio from Mainz
We are two artists with one shared obsession: transforming spaces with light. From facade projection to interactive installation — every project is one of a kind.

Light is our material. Space is our canvas.
In focus
Mainz Leuchtet
For the Mainz Leuchtet late light festival we mapped the east choir of Mainz Cathedral: patterns build up and fall apart again — after Heraclitus, everything flows and nothing stands still.
